British designed and manufactured helmet, single shell protection providing an affordable and lightweight helmet range for the cricketer that prefers the traditional Masuri helmet style over our new, high-tech Vision Series range.

Masuri combines modern manufacturing techniques and the latest technology in plastics, along with Masuris traditional DNA in order to bring back the Original Series range. This was a favourite for many years with international players all over the world including; Brian Lara, Jaques Kallis, Brendon McCullum, Matthew Hayden and many more! Obviously, all new safety requirements are met and surpassed as one would expect from Masuri.

OS2 utilises the soft cell foam front and back liners to contour to your head shape, ensuring a snug fit every time without the need for an adjustor.

GCCC Warranty & Consumer Guarantees

At the Greg Chappell Cricket Centre (GCCC), we stand behind the quality of the gear we sell. We want you to love your equipment, but we know that sometimes things don’t go exactly to plan on the field.

Whether an item doesn't fit quite right or a piece of gear hasn't performed the way it should, we are committed to finding a fair and fast solution under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

General Warranties - What is Covered vs. What is Not

What IS Covered

A warranty claim is valid if a product fails due to a manufacturing defect under normal playing conditions. Examples include:

Split seams or unraveling stitching on bags, shoe tongues, gloves or pads shortly after purchase.

Splitting or separation of a shoe sole from the upper (not caused by dragging).

Broken buckles, straps, or zippers under normal usage.

What IS NOT Covered

Cricket is a high-impact sport, and gear is subjected to extreme force. The warranty does not cover:

Normal Wear & Tear: Fraying fabric, scuff marks, or gradual cosmetic degradation from regular use.

Spike/Stud Damage: Damage to the upper shoe mesh or leather caused by a player accidentally catching their own footwear with their spikes.

Improper Care: Mold or rotting caused by storing wet gear in a closed bag, or heat damage from leaving equipment in a hot car boot.

Misuse: Using equipment for purposes other than cricket, or modification of the product.

🛠️ The Assessment & Remedy Process

Because we partner with the world’s leading cricket brands, we work directly with manufacturers to assess specialized gear.

The Assessment: When you lodge a claim, our team (and sometimes the manufacturer) will inspect the item. This process typically takes 5 to 10 business days.

The Result: If the item has a major failure, you are entitled to a choice of a replacement or a full refund. If the failure is minor, we will happily repair the item or replace it within a reasonable timeframe.

📋 How to Make a Claim

We want to make this as painless as possible. Please follow these steps to get sorted:

Step 1: Get in Touch

Before sending or bringing your gear back to us, contact our Customer Service team to discuss the issue.

📞 Free Call: 1800 HOWZAT (1800 469 928)

✉️ Email: enquire@cricketcentre.com.au

OR fill in a GCCC Returns Form and our Customer Service team will review and advise of next steps.

Step 2: Provide Proof of Purchase

To process any warranty claim, you must supply a valid proof of purchase. This includes your original register receipt, an online order confirmation email, or a bank statement showing the transaction.
And if you have a GCCC Account, we can easily locate this in your purchase history!

Step 3: Present the Goods

Following instructions from our team, you can either bring the item into your local GCCC store or securely mail it back to one of our stores for a professional assessment.

Please Note: For Custom Made items - eg custom-built bats (such as the Gray-Nicolls Custom Builder & SCC Custom Bats), Custom Clothing, Custom Helmets or any other "special order item" please note that change-of-mind returns are not accepted due to the personalised nature of the product. However, they remain fully covered by the manufacturing warranty.
