Thank you for purchasing your new bat from the Cricket Centre! While your bat comes with a great head start—having already been pressed, filmed, and fitted with toe protection—however you must complete a few crucial remaining stages of preparation before hitting the nets or playing a match. Properly compressing and strengthening the willow fibres physically conditions the wood for use. If these final steps are skipped or not completed correctly, the risk of severely damaging your new bat is extremely high, its performance will never reach its true potential, and it could impact your warranty
