The Greg Chappell Cricket Centre Garage Sale is back for 2026, with two huge clearance weekends at our Albion and Heidelberg stores. Shop previous-season cricket gear, odd sizes, left-handed equipment, one-offs and clearance stock — then take an extra 10% off the already discounted prices. Albion kicks things off on 14–15 August, followed by Heidelberg on 21–22 August. Once it’s gone, it’s gone.

There are sales — and then there’s the GCCC Garage Sale.

Once a year, we dig deep into the stockrooms at our Albion and Heidelberg stores and bring out cricket gear that needs to go. It might be from a previous season. It might be the last one left. It might be an unusual size, a left-handed item or simply a line we’re clearing to make room for all the new-season gear arriving in store.

Whatever the reason, it means one thing for cricketers:

Bargains. And plenty of them.

Better still, during the Garage Sale, all Garage Sale stock gets an EXTRA 10% OFF its already marked-down price.

What can you find at the GCCC Garage Sale?

Part of the fun is that you never quite know what you’ll find.

The Garage Sale isn't a normal promotion with hundreds of identical products. Much of the gear is limited, one-off or end-of-line stock, so what’s available will vary between Albion and Heidelberg.

When and where is the GCCC Garage Sale 2026?

There are two Garage Sale weekends in 2026, beginning at Albion in Brisbane before moving to Heidelberg in Melbourne the following weekend.

The Garage Sale stock is available at these stores during the event, and because quantities and sizes are limited, the best finds can disappear quickly.

How do you get the best bargains at the Garage Sale?

Get there early and be prepared to rummage.

The best thing about the GCCC Garage Sale is also what makes it different from a normal sale: there are plenty of one-offs.

If you find a bat you like in the right weight, a pair of shoes in your size or that particular piece of gear you've been looking for, don't assume there'll be another one later.

For parents getting juniors ready for the new season, it's also worth having a good look through the different sizes available. Kids grow quickly, and picking up quality cricket gear from a previous season at a heavily reduced price can make plenty of sense.

And if you're left-handed, definitely have a look. Some of the best Garage Sale finds can be left-handed equipment remaining from previous ranges.

Should I come on Friday or Saturday?
If you want the widest choice, we'd recommend getting there early. With one-offs and limited quantities, once something is gone, it's gone.
