Gray-Nicolls Scoop - 50th Anniversary Edition for the 2024/25 Season
A limited edition release to celebrate the Scoop's 50th anniversary!
The Scoop was first introduced in 1977. The revolutionary design gave the Scoop a more forgiving sweet spot and thus was the first cricket bat for many young cricketers of the day, made famous by Greg and Ian Chappell.
During the early 80's the Scoop evolved into the Twin Scoop, as used by David Hookes, and eventually into the Pro Balance Four Scoop.
Ask any cricketer and they'll tell you the Scoop had an almost a cult-like following and evokes a sense of nostalgia when mentioned to players today.
So, without further ado, for the 2024/25 season, Gray-Nicolls has released this crowd favourite!
Featuring a modern-day profile with GN's POWERCURVE face, large edges, a rounded toe and the iconic perimeter weighted scoop.
These bats are Australian made, crafted in the Gray-Nicolls factory in Cheltenham, Vic; and pay homage to the past while embracing the modern game.
